The Kitchen Problem

When a water leak occurred for this client, they worked with their insurance company to restore their kitchen. Not only were several cabinets destroyed by the leak but the the hardwood floors were damaged and had to be removed. In the midst of this, they realized their current kitchen really wasn't working for them. When we met, we talked about all the problem areas they had as a family of 5. They decided to take the opportunity and create the kitchen of their dreams!

The Design Process

This client had such a unique design with beautiful, bold colors throughout the house and really wanted the kitchen to coordinate. As we met and worked through selections, these gorgeous spruce green cabinets spoke to them! We paired the cabinets with the most amazing gold splattered fuchsia tile backsplash making this kitchen bold, beautiful and so wonderfully unique! The countertops are a fabulous porcelain and and the gold accents pop against the color selections!

The Kitchen Solution

We created more storage in the kitchen removing a desk area and installing a 2nd pantry. We removed oddly shaped cabinets that really made it difficult to find pots and pans and replaced with perfectly designed drawers. We were able to refinish the kitchen hardwoods and blended the stain and top coats in to the rest of the hardwoods throughout the downstairs without having to refinish the entire home. And of course, all of the materials selected just gave this kitchen the WOW factor!
